The Demo Squad (formerly known as defensive backs) are the Wrecking Crew's demolition specialists, responsible for blowing up an offense's passing capabilities while providing aggressive support against the run. Fast, agile, disciplined, and fearless, these elite workers eliminate explosive plays before they ever have the opportunity to develop.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

The Demo Squad's mission is to:

• Demolish the opposing team's passing attack through tight coverage, disciplined technique, and timely execution.

• Shut down the offense's most dangerous receiving threats by confidently accepting one-on-one assignments against proven playmakers.

• Eliminate explosive plays by disrupting routes, attacking the football, and creating turnovers.

• Provide immediate run support by attacking the perimeter and preventing runners from turning the corner.

• Protect the deepest levels of the defensive worksite while communicating and coordinating with the entire Wrecking Crew.

• Finish every play with speed, physicality, and relentless pursuit.
